And it ended with cheese!

Tuesday 16th March: For Steph's last day with me in Vienna we headed out for brunch of ham and eggs at the Breakfast Club Cafe, then to the Albertina for art and the Andy Warhol exhibition, Cars, where I managed to sneek in a few pictures of his work before being promptly told off by a guard! Later we walked around Stephansplatz and spent a whole hour looking for Kleines Cafe in its winding streets, eventually stumbling into it for much needed apfelstrudel and heisser schokolade's....

For our day of walking around town we slipped on comfortable flat boots- Stephs are Russel & Bromley, Mine: Dune.

For dinner we stayed out and walked from Kleines to Stadtpark where we went to the amazing Meierei restaurant, the less expensive section to the fine dining Steirereck. Nethertheless we treated ourselves to a 9 cheese board comprising 3 cheeses each from Austria-Italy-France, since the resturant showcases an impressive 150 types of cheeses, specialising in milk and cheese. A fine way to end off a lovely 4 days!!!

We did quite well in working our way through the board, avoiding the particularly pungent bottom right hand corner French one, preferring the more mild and creamy Austrian and Italian cheeses!
And then home to bed......
